ik twijfel er niet aan of dit is een munt uit een Viking schatvondst. Verkoop komt uit Letland, en verkoopt munten die regelmatig in Viking vondsten voorkomen.

"Basileios II Boulgaroktonos (Bulgarendoder) (Grieks: Βασίλειος Β΄ Βουλγαροκτόνος, Basileios II Boulgaroktonos) (Constantinopel 95815 december 1025) was van 976 tot aan zijn dood keizer van het Byzantijnse Rijk. Toen Basileios II hulp kreeg van de grootvorst Vladimir van Kiev om een opstand van Bardas Fokas te onderdrukken, vroeg Vladimir de hand van zijn zuster Anna. Anna wilde met geen heiden trouwen en zo ligt dit huwelijk aan de basis van de kerstening van het Russische volk en het ontstaan van de Russisch-Orthodoxe Kerk". bron
