SILVER DUTCH RIDER COIN minted in 1711. This was recovered from the Dutch
trading ship the DeLiefde. The DeLiefde was built in 1698 and sank in October of 1711 in
the North Sea, off the coast of Scotland. She was carrying a hoard of treasure and coins,
which included many Silver Dutch Riders. The ship and its treasures were discovered some
250 years after the fateful tragedy. Also note that the original Certificate of Origin and

Silver Ducaton from Netherlands. This silver coin was recovered from the 1711 Shipwreck of
the De Liefde. This coin has considerable salt water damage from being at the bottom of
the ocean for over two hundred fifty years. It measures approx. 42mm in diameter and
weighs 31.8 grams.
