 A magnificent late Roman/Byzantine bronze patera/Skillet,5th-9th Century AD,with large traces of silverplate and nice decoration along the rim and on the bottom.Measures:11cmx5cm.

This is a magnificent and large Roman Bronze Skillet, showing nice decoration below the rim. Has some wear around the base, otherwise complete and intact. Dating to the 2nd Century AD. Measuring a fantastic 26cm in length and 6cm in depth and 13cm across the bowl.
